Michael Jackson Update

Michael Jackson’s autopsy was conducted earlier today, but the L.A. County Coroner has announced that further testing has been ordered, so results won’t be released for 4-6 weeks.

The coroner is currently waiting on results of toxicology tests to help determine the cause of death. There was no initial indication of foul play, but there was evidence that Michael was on prescription medication.

Meanwhile, Michael’s family is working to put together a case to take custody of the singer’s three children. Debbie Rowe, the mother of the two oldest kids has the legal right to take them, but according to Michael’s family members, Debbie has never been a part of the childrens’ lives.

Whoever ends up with custody is entitled to a rather large child support payment from Michael’s estate, so Debbie is expected to fight the family for the right to her kids.
