‘Burn Notice’ Star Jeffrey Donovan Arrested For DUI

“Burn Notice” star Jeffrey Donovan joins a long list of celebrities who have gotten arrested for drinking and driving. Fortunately no one was hurt and this incident sort of had a humorous element to it, if you enjoy the antics of people that have had too much too drink. The arresting officer hears tires screeching and a car swerving to avoid his. After getting pulled over Donovan tried to explain himself with: “Sorry, I didn’t see the red light or your stopped car.” Not exactly the smooth moves he is known for on his show. The cop smelled the strong odor of alcohol, and asked Donovan if he had anything to drink and got this answer: “I had three drinks at the Fontainebleau.”

Donovan flunked a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. That’s when he said, “The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl with 3 glasses of wine.”

Yeah that and getting in a car. Look for Jeffrey to appear next doing community service in a town near you soon.
