ESPN expose their chief female reporter to shame
ESPN reporter, Erin Andrews is one of the leading female reporters in what is largely a male-dominant field. But her hard-won career may be coming unglued…
Early this year, while on assignment, Erin was secretly filmed while alone and undressed in her hotel room. The illicit tape then appeared on a soft-porn web-site and stayed there for weeks - but Erin was safe as no-one could tell who it was.
But when fuzzy stills from the intrusive recording appeared on another site recently, ESPN’s chief legal-eagle, David Pahl sent that site a stern warning, demanding removal at once â" And that’s when it all hit the fan.
Overnight, the web came alive with hundreds of links to the pictures and downloads of the tape. But the Mickey Mouse network are unswayed by their gaff, and refuse to admit they increased Erin’s pain, “Any action we have, or will undertake in this matter is in concert with Erin and her team.” is all ESPN’s rep, Chris LaPlaca would say to the Post.
The 31-year old reporter, whose love of her craft has earned her the title of, ‘America’s Sideline Princess,’ has yet to make any statement herself, but the story’s ongoing and we’ll keep you informed…
