Katie Holmes Creates Dance Scholarship Fund
Katie Holmes thinks everyone should be able to dance!
The Xenu-bot has joined forces with So You Think You Can Dance creator Nigel Lythgoe, Hairspray director Adam Shankman and SYTYCD judge Carrie Ann Inaba to create the Dizzy Feet Foundation.
The Dizzy Feet Foundation is a dance scholarship organization that will give "underprivileged youngsters the opportunity to take part in dance programs and win grants to enroll in accredited dance studios."
So generous!
Holmes, who will be appearing on the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance later this month, told reporters why she's pitching in: "I think it's important for children to experience music and dance. Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit."
Nice work, Mrs. Cruise!
