LaToya Jackson says Michael was murdered - but itâs Papa Joe that worries me
The hot Michael Jackson news today is that LaToya Jackson has spoken out for the first time saying she thinks “a shadowy entourage” led to the death of her brother, accusing them of “murdering” him. Speaking with Britain’s Daily Mail, LaToya, says that Michael was an isolated figure, making him easy prey for greedy associates. She accuses these people, whether it be doctors, business associates or assistants, of feeding Jackson drugs to control his moods in order to get what they want. Someone will probably be prosecuted perhaps for manslaughter for Michael’s death before all is said and done.
But however Michael died and whomever is responsible to me is much less an issue, then what happens with his children, Prince Michael I, 12, Paris Michael Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II (also known as Blanket), 7.. It’s clear that Michael’s dad Joe Jackson is circling like a buzzard smelling money to be made. Joe’s got a few irons in the fire in that regard. Because Michael did not provide clear, specific directions for burial, control over his remains would go to his next of kin â" in this case, his parents. But Joe and Katherine Jackson appear to be of very different minds about Michael’s final resting place. Katherine is adament that Michael wanted nothing do with his former playground Neverland ranch, which became tainted in his eyes after the accusations and legal problems he faced.
Meanwhile pappa Joe Michaelâs brother Jermaine are adamant that Michael should be buried at Neverland, mainly because the family could earn millions from a Graceland-like museum at the site. The second iron Joe has in the fire is his desire to make Michael’s kids his new stars. So pappa Joe is now anxious to become the kids legal gaurdian. As Michael requested in his will, Katherine (but not Joe who Michael thought was a terrible parent) has been granted legal temporary guardianship In a partial interview released on ABC on Friday, taken from a longer interview to be aired July 14, Joe says that both he and estranged wife Katherine should take on permanent guardianship duties now that Michael has died. “Their grandmother Katherine and I should raise them,” Joe said. “Yes there’s no one else who can do what we can do for them. We should keep them all together and make them happy. Feed them like they are supposed to be fed.”
Pappa Joe Jackson was the driving force in making Michael a star, but perhaps at a cost that left his son an emotional cripple. It would be totally ironic and perhaps tragic if Joe were to now get his hands on Michael’s children.
