Wienermobile falls hard for Wisconsin house, but will it last?
The Oscar Mayer wiener mobile was hanging out in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin yesterday afternoon, relishing some good old mid-western sunshine but ended up gettingĂ‚ sandwiched into a tight spot instead. The driver was trying to turn the Wienermobile around in a driveway on a dead end street, but mistakenly put the tranny in reverse when she hit the gas, crashing the vehicle right into a home. The Wienermobile was hopelessly left in a pickle, wedged under the deck of the home. Don’t blame the driver though, it must be difficult to tell which is the front and back end of a vehicle that looks like a hotdog?
Fortunately no one was home and the driver wasn’t hurt. A spokesperson for Oscar Mayer said insurance will cover the mess and the Wienermobile and the house plan to see each other again soon. Okay I made up that last part. Company officials say Oscar Mayer’s fleet of 27-foot-long hot dogs on wheels, which seats six, travels across the country promoting the brand’s line of hot dog, bologna and deli meats.
